How to NAP/ NAP info

First of all NAP's are not part of the rules they are Honory deals between the players.

Below are what most players agree on that are the NAP's code of conduct, and if any points is not agreed upon, it can be changed

1- When making NAP's always mention ending the NAP on day-change x-y, example NAP until day-change 7-8

2-Always mention if a NAP has a cancellation clause, example 48hrs cancellation, the NAP can be dissolved with a 48hrs notice

3-Always mention if its an individual NAP or coalition NAP, players joining a coalition after a coalition NAP is made will not be part of the NAP, and the NAP needs to be re discussed to add him/her.

4-any players should not be allowed to use ur lands and attack a player that u have a NAP with

5-If u have a NAP with a player and he attack ur ally, u do not have the right to break the NAP and attack him thats why choose ur NAP's and allies wisely

6-if u have a NAP deal with a player, scouting his lands with planes with the centre of the scouting circle is inside his territory or even flying by deep in his territory, can be considered an act of war and that player has the right to shoot down that plane and declare war, but its preferable to always send a warning message 1st.

7-always renew NAPs 2 days before they expire and always make sure u have the status of all ur NAP very clear, if a coalition do not communicate constantly that will be a good reason to always check ur NAP's directly with the other players. Do not wait for the last day to renew NAP as the other player have the right to reject the renew and attack u at daychange

Wow.. heck of a solid start Mark! I honestly have nothing to add or discuss about this, I think it was very well thought out and put together.

i mildly disagree with a couple of the points, but i do agree that this is a well thought out idea, and it appears to resolve the issues

as a whole i agree with this

well done mark

Might I ask which points, and what issues, do you have? I'm only asking because this may be modified later on as needed and it would be helpful to our community to understand the viewpoints of a veteran such as yourself.

I believe keeping honor in your games says a lot about your character. I like this. My alliance tries to always honor agreements made within the game, too.

The proposed NAP rules are well thought out. I don't have any issues with them. They are pretty much what I have to explicity negotiate for with each NAP unless the player and I have had these kind of NAPs previously.

I would like to say something for any new players that want to join a PL game... first it's a lot fun you get to compete with some very good players and no gold is used. You need to be very careful about NAPs and make sure you verify with each member of a coalition if you have a NAP or not. I had to find out the hard way that one member of your coalition can make a NAP with another player and their coalition and not include the other members of your coalition also just because your ally says you have a NAP with someone in a coalition msg don't mean it's true. It's always best to verify if you have a NAP with everyone or else you can find yourself fighting 3 against 1 in no time. PL games are alot of fun and a good challenge... you just need to think and be careful... thanks

Are pillows provided? or do we need to bring our own for best results? Is there a regulation size for pillows and blankets?

Sorry. I wanted to say that since the first day I saw this. I held out as long as I could.

I have a question: what happen in the following situation: Player X is in an alliance, and that alliance do an alliance Nap with other alliance or individual player. Then, the player X left the alliance. The NAP is legally finish for player X?

If the answer is yes (I think it is, but please confirm it to me), THE INDIVIDUAL NAP IS THE ONLYONE WICH GUARANTEE NAPS NOT TO BE BREAK WHeN SOMEONE LEAVES AN ALLIANCE.

i guess in this case, the NAP with the player that left needs to be re-negotiated, to avoid this, maybe during coalition NAP's players can confirm individual NAP's as well to avoid any problems if they feel there is a chance they leave the coalition

i agree with mark

but would like to add that it doesnt have to be a RULE

lets keep it simple, most of us are honorable players and will keep our commitments

Mark, blacklists are not supported or even allowed/tolerated.

For the players league, you can always speak to roko about simply disallowing players from joining the league matches for any reason. If the league community as a whole feels breaking NAP is cause to be disallowed from maps in the future, that can be followed through on.

This would neither be a blacklist, nor would it be public information or even available for players within the league. The players league's leadership would have to keep it quiet as to not publicly embarrass players; which cannot be the intent. Some players have already been disallowed, in the past, and I feel roko did very well in keeping it quiet.

Oki @WiseOdin ill edit the post and remove the blacklist part tmrw

How about it being up to the player who leaves to confirm if s/he will hold to the agreements already made? ie. Player X leaves coalition and either publicly or privately states s/he will uphold all agreements already made or will decide (either in whole or selectively) abandon previous agreements?

Personally I would feel obligated to hold to agreements I either have already agreed to, or agreed with my coalition leader that we should enter. I also agree that this should not be a rule, and in this case the KISS rule should apply.
