MODERATORS VERSUS PLAYERS

I propose a new game, a mod versus player game! It shall be held on the EUROPE 1939 map. It shall have 5 non-mod Players and 5 Moderators! I, of course [since it is my idea], will be one of the players, while the other players will be the top players who are still actively playing this game. IF anyone goes inactive, they will be replaced. The mods will elect 5 of themselves to play. It shall have free country selection, a secret password, and have an option to other people to spectate it. [BT

ALSO, no gold or premium currency will be allowed in this game. No Premium Account features. Each team will have a captain, me being the Player's captain while the mods elect their own captain.

The Historical wouldn't be fun as it isn't balanced. The Homefront or Pacific Theatre map would be fun, like this more players can participate. Also 5 regular players vs 5 mods wouldn't be fair as mods tend to know the game better.

I personally think a you could increase the amount of players, like a 10v10. Also, you should choose a map where everyone is balanced, like BMFox said, Homefront or Pacific Theater map.

You realize that all moderators have Premium Account right? On top of it, it is impossible to check if someone has used Premium Account features or not. I've seen this rule before in a tournament and it got cancelled half way trough. Don't make rules that are impossible to check and enforce.

This was already kinda a thing. I participated in a staff vs players 100 WaW map. That was in 2019, and I never saw the end of it because I went inactive around then. It was fun though, I definitely didn't stand a chance then.

Wonderful! It is my belief at the end of the day moderators are players and should be treated as such in game, ie: there shouldnt be a need for a designated Moderators v non volunteer Players game, unless such players are newer ones and the mods are there to help them get used to the game.

In-game, there are currently 437 general ranked players, out of about 5 million. That's far less than 1%. On the forums, there are about 37. So, 37 out of ~45,000. You do realize just how exclusive general rank is, right?

i guess in game, but people with general rank in game are not even the best in the world, they just grinded a lot.

If not, it will be the first year in which staff didnt make a special year end game that was staff vs. players. I was one of the guys that used to get that going. We had to get players to help fill in staff spots simply because there werent always enough staff to fill in all the slots on one side. So, it was a community game or two, not all-out grudge matches.

I would actually like to get into a game like that. I just wonder what side I would play on. Bwahahaha. Blue is evil too.
