Players League results 2018-1

I am not really bothered with points in PL, but there is something, which I don't understand in this points system... Was March game some kind of bonus round? Why there are +50% points added for that month?

RULE 2 - Round usually start at the first day of the month, and run one full day short the normal length of the month (e.g. the January round ends at the day change from January 30th to January 31st). Exception will be published on this forum.

doc and i have looked at post and it says game will end on day 31 not may 31

sorry for the confusion

@grandpooba52 we all thought it will end on may 31 as it is said that new round will start on June 1, all the surviving players agree to end the round on may 31 and we all said goodbye in the news! new roudn should start today so please end the may round and publish the results

Why May round is ongoing:

It was stated publicly that May PL would end on Day 31 (it would run for 31 days as usual) and that June PL would run as normal.

I hope this is clear as to why the May round is still going due to its late start and a PL round is to run until Day 31

In relation to the June Round:

I had received negative feedback for the use of the 50 pl map, It was pointed out to me that there were also a couple articles in WH stating dissatisfaction with the 50 player.

Criticisms of the May round 50 pl map included;

• Not enough players to fill the map or half of it and playing against AI is boring.
• Because there were so many (AI) some players were at a great advantage if they were isolated enough.
• With all the AI nations it messed with the market as there was always a surplus from the AI and they sell lowif there is an imbalance in the market there is no need to manage your own economy

For July PL round we will hold a poll for the map for July PL at the end of June in order to learn what YOU WANT as this is YOUR league!

I have a slightly warped sense of humor, but the 25 historic would be a great map to balance the game if countries were assigned versus random. ie. give the worst players the best country starts and the best players the worst starts. The issue of course is correctly ranking the players.
