please update the options for voting, we are talking about very specific changes that you made just for this round.
Which are
1) only awarding half points for this round.
2) bonus provinces handpicked by you that would give extra points
On Mihail request, a poll about PL rules.

Mihail, I'd like to make this a _bit_ more generic and longer-lasting, not about some small changes in one specific round, otherwise we have someone whining next month about a 2- or 3-day peace period or cursing me about the map choice.
So these are the options. I agree that this isn't my league, but it surely isn't yours either. By the sound of it, you wanted to vote number three, so go ahead and click it.
exactly that. I never claimed it to be my league, and I would never just implement changes to the rules without first discussing it with the players, but you did so... please , do not even try to turn it around... Where do you see whining? POinting out the obvious in what you did , is not whining, it is showing you your place, and making sure you are not destroying the league by implementing stupid new rules whenever you wish
I couldnt vote with any option as i would go for nbr 3 but im against late start ups, we can start the round and vote for round2 to have the changes without having delays in starting the pl
I agree, no changes this month. Put them up for discussion for next round.MarkAchkar wrote:

Yes it is whining. The rule changes are minor, but you happen to not like them and make a fuss. Then when I make a poll asking players what to do (recieving five votes so far, talking representative!) you want to dictate the questions. Yeah I call that whining.MihailMD wrote:

Right now I'm thinking of cancelling the july round altogether, and start the new season in august. I don't think its fair to our normal player base to run a full-point round in summer with so few regulars (you said there were many - well check out the signup thread and learn counting).
For july, I will run a no-point round, which is NOT part of the next season, with some more rule experiments than you happen to like. Feel free to pass on it.
I am in favor of any and all innovations, and stand behind Roko in whatever decisions he makes for the PL.
Roko took over, on his own, when the 3 founders left the PL.
Without Roko, we would have no PL.
Show some respect.
to hell with Roko's league then, I will definitely not participate in one. What ever it is , it is not a Player's league anymore.
If one player can come with any stupid rules , and do whatever the heck he wants by implementing them, I will call BS every time. You can call it whining Roko, but all it is, is the unwillingness to follow illogical stubborn man who thinks he is above all others.
The changes are not minor, just because you claim it to be so, it changes the whole game concept. Which only shows how illogical and shortsighted you are. I told you this very thing 3 months ago when you were on my team, and I still stand by those words, you only proved me right once again.
As you can see from comments, I am not the only one who did not vote in the poll, because those options make little sense as well, and are not even relative to the specific discussion on the "minor" rules for this month that your "highness" have introduced out of blue...
if you look at the sign up, only few names that have played in each of the last three months are missing. BUt don't bother, I know that facts and logic are not your strengths... by far....
Good bye, and good riddance.
Lol why would we play a round of pl without points, u r making things worse!
We r getting gd sign ups dont ruine it !
From time to time one should adapt and try to innovate.
It is the same with the German league.
So, Roko, please go on!
The mentioned changes are minor and also good
the victory point bonus provinces should be fun, everyone will be fighting for those
nobody said the change and innovation are bad, I am most definitely not against changes, but not like this. What I speak against is that any changes should be brought for a discussion to the players before being implemented, that is how this Player's league was founded and operated from the start.BigHorrn wrote:

when someone takes over and changes rules to what ever he wants and whenever he wants without ever mentioning it to other players or asking their opinion, that is wrong, and must be stopped.
Congrats to the June winners for a round well played!!!!!! There were many good players playing for the title, but you guys smashed through.
With that said, I don't believe having only one excellent round should determine the results for the whole season.
The US map may have been a rough one that I actually enjoyed, but the total points are almost double any of the individual preceding months.
I don't have an issue with changes as some have. The game itself changes with the addition of maps, unit levels, and the stats of units through updates made. I do think that each of the six (or however many months make a season) should be consistent. Any changes should be discussed during a season and then be implemented at the beginning of a season and stay until it's end. Basically, consistency for a complete season is what I would prefer.
I agree. Half points for bigger maps make a lot of sense to keep the consistency and fairness...

That's the reason we playing in the German League always now the 100 player world map.
But when I read the sign up for the july round it's hard for new players to check when it's starts (date & time), witch map? how long goes one round...
I read the question about the prize in a other PL thread.
Prize for the winners we get from Bytro for a season is:
1.) 20K Gold and two month of HC
2.) 10K Gold and one month HC
3).) 5K Gold and two weeks HC
Payment for the prize can make the MA.
Actually it was a hard start for me. Most of my troops were near South America with only a token force at home in Cuba. Then came the invasion from Florida which had to be costly defended. An attack on Florida followed but due to troops numbers, I could not take their cities.
South Carolina was surrounding by Sauron Coalition and did made a pre-emptive strike strike against Alabama with me which failed miserably.
North Carolina broke the NAP with South Carolina and attacked it. We had to made a NAP with Sauron. Now so Sauron had the time to take out other nations. What followed was continous wars.
I never thought that we would win this map, but we were lucky. After all, a very very interesting game for me. A thank you for all the players in the game for this.
I concur with Russel that one game should not decide the whole season
Roko u said earlier july with no points, we need reply on this pls, playing without points is useless! Points should always be rewarded
He did say: 50% points + bonus points
