player league forum needs some adjustments and updates

Player's League is actually player run We staff keep our hands out of the organizing.

Staff will randomly create invitationals, but they're not full tournaments like what the Player's League put together.

I am fairly certain the intent was to have some thread management done here on the forum. Is that handled by one of the players (if so, who) or should we be more specific in what we would like done.

I believe the specific request today would be putting the June sign up in the "sticky" spot that is currently occupied by the December sign up list.

It might also be appropriate to put "Players league - 1st season 2017 rules" up as a sticky.

That would give us three sticky threads

1) Hall of Fame

2) Rules (whatever the current ones are)

3) Sign up for the next game.

So why it is now player run and not player league, why not remake it player league? It would attract player to be more active and maybe get back some inactive players, the staff do realize that players activity is on decrease and that the forums are almost dead same as most good players, i think uvguys should try and make some efforts to improve the situation

Sounds like you are blowing off the request to sticky the players league. Maybe the company doesn't support it because it is a non-gold game. However, I would suggest supporting it and encouraging it. A large portion of PL players have high command and it's common for them to get HC just for the PL games and I'm sure many of them use gold in other games. It is also a bit of a spectacle for newer players to hear about and aspire to and adds an interesting dimension to the forum and the game as a whole.

@WiseOdin u mentioned that there are bytro sponsored prizes, a day ago i asked if there were any prize for the winners and the answer was that there arent any prizes, maybe u wana double check this matter with Roko.

And for the sticky post i hope it can be fixed bcs i dont think its a big deal to organize it a bit, if needed i can help or any other active players can help with that if needed

Well actually I didn't realize there were any prizes either!

I contacted Odin about some of the stuff discussed here in private.

Peter Mad, man im far from winning anthg atm, and beside i always have HC and i always win all my rounds so i dont need gold, i got plenty esp that i dont use it, but the player league always had prizes so why now it shouldn't! and beside that, we need to encourage people to play, we need this league to be very organised for us as well to enjoy the current round.

Though I didn't play this round, I always tell people about the PL. I'm in a new alliance, and I'll bet I can get a handful of new players for the next month just out of that group.

just make sure they are at least somewhat capable, don't invite noobs.

Most of the players in my alliance are at least above noob stage. But, I'm the highest rank in it, even above our imperious leader.
