Seems a bit out of sorts that we do not have an official sign up thread for February and the lack of any PL official posts this month, perhaps they have been locked away in a padded cell trying to formulate the rules for this season

Sadly the work schedule for February has me off the edge of the known universe, again. We don't know how used we are to the 'net until we step beyond its edges. The tentative schedule also has me disappeared for a few weeks in March so I am out of the PL games until April, at the earliest.

Maybe by then the new rules will be out?

Sorry for the lack of communications. I havent talked to Wild in weeks, just havent seen him around. Admittedly, I havent been on skype a lot too so we might just keep missing each other. Our new addition, Roko, I have been discussing the rules with for a bit and we are almost done finishing up.

Might mean Feb game will be a bit shorter then usual (aside being...February).

To give a taste of the new rules:

- Coalition shared point system will be implemented

- Lone wolves will get a very slight bonus most likely

- Coalitions will be locked from start if you make them, but if this proves to be an utter disaster, we dont mind changing it for game 2

- NAPs are a private deal, it is your responsibility to ensure they are honored...or not. We will not make honor rules and all, because we have noticed a lot of people fail to see the difference between honor rules and official rules.

Alas, I have no info regarding the last season in regard to the updates. Wild has the most recent document in regard to points. After this message, I will send him a PM in this game and hope it reaches him so we can sort things out and crown a winner for season 1

Additionally, I will personally endeavor the rules are simple and crystal clear. I of course cannot guarantee it. Should any questions be raised when they are put up in the forum, dont hesitate to contact me on skype (if you have me), ingame, or through forum conversations. I might not always reply in 24h, but I will eventually.

So where can I find the complete rules for this and how do I sign up...I have several people interested.

The rules are basically done now, so they will be posted very soon.

There is one problem though (see earlier remark), one of the admins (who can also check for gold use violations, I cant) I havent seen in a while. So I think the Februari match either has to be postponed to March, or we have a very short game of say 15 days (and people have won maps on day 15, dont let it hold you back!)

I asked my other fellow admin to make the opening post, sort of an initiation ritual since he is the new guy on the block. If it hasnt been done before Friday, I will do the post and will try to think up something to adress the time and gold issue. In the waaay past (first 10 or so PL games), gold usage wasnt checked in the PL and it was honor based. Usually worked, aside a very low % of bad apples who couldnt resist. Lets say I am experienced enough to notice gold usage if the user is in my line of sight.
