Agreed. It's really weird having an achievement for a scenario that doesn't exist. To say the least.

We actually get half decent armies in a historical setup!!!

But it does feel a bit of a rush in how it is patched together. The entire british fleet is just thrown into scappa flow, as if it were at rest when in reality it should be divided between:

a) the english channel

b) scappa flow (where all of it currently starts)

c) the north sea (hunting for german fleet)

d) in the Atlantic on convoy duty

Also, there seems to be a lack of tactical bombers on all 3 sides. The research isn't historically aligned (all nations start with, I think, lvl 2 research everything).

I think Britain would dominate in Naval Tech, Germany would dominate in Land tech and both would be pretty equal in Air tech...

No at that point Germany was extremely weak. Although, it had high quality tanks like the Tiger or the Panther. They only had a few of them, most of the tanks were either Stug III or Panzer 4. While, the Air Force was decimated by allied bombings, only a few aces were left. In fact, Germany had to resort to crashing their planes into bombers at the end of the war.
