Registration for the Dirty Dozen - Round One

Welcome to "The Dirty Dozen" of the international CoW Team league

This league is a series of games launched by CoW Support. Every month start a new game, four months lasts one season. The common thread in the league is the ban on the use of gold. This ban is monitored by the support and punished by the game play.

Furthermore, the games in "The Dirty Dozen" differ from normal rounds in CoW due to an extended set of rules

Here is the rule: Rules

These rules are needed to get a regulated and friendly interaction with the other players. Because the struggles in the league are often very bitter and led with great severity.

Note:

As you play in the league, you should be aware that you are playing with players who will seek out and exploit every void in your strategy. A lack of agreement among neighbors and others in the same team, is quickly exploited. The lack of support for a threatened team partner who asks for help is fatal and often leads to their own demise.

Basic rules:

  • The use of gold is not permitted in league games. (supervised!)
  • The games of the league are played anonymously.
  • The players should play fair, the newspaper is subject to certain restrictions.
  • All rules and the game management can be found in our rules

Schedule:

  1. Registration until all 60 seats have been taken or until 2.2. 6:00 pm UTC.
  2. A conversation will be created in the forum announcing the game ID and password.
  3. Players gradually enter the map and are randomly distributed to the nations.
  4. Game start, the first game of the series starts on 1.2. at 18:00 UTC.
  5. Registered players who do not appear on the map within the first 24 hours after the start of the game will be replaced by reserve players!

Ich kann mich leider nicht anmelden.

ich habe es über den Link versucht, aber leider klappt es nicht.

Gibt es eine alternative Möglichkeit für die Anmeldung?

Guys, welcome to one of the best ligas in CoW :-)

Please read the rules very carefully, they are stricter than usual. The rules are formed after years of experience.

sieht jedenfalls so aus, kann da schon voll los legen.

turkestan hat noch eine weitere flagge in xinjiang gehört aber nicht zu cyan-team.

sehr verwirrend die ganze sache.

Verdammt... 1 Tag zu spät reingeguckt... Darf ich als Nachzügler mich anbieten, falls jemand abspringt, kann english deutsch und russisch.

EDit:

angeblich hatte ein Spieler für Beobachterteam mitregisitriert, also falls Platz frei wird melde mich freiwillig:-)

Außerdem protzen Russen ob eigene Spione in jeden Team installiert zu haben, ohne Gewahr ob es stimmt oder nur Schmutzkompanie sei...

In order to make the game more like a team, I propose to make a "free choice of countries" and for each team to determine the continent. Otherwise, each player will have their own diplomacy.

The dirty dozen is not a team game, as clearly stated in the rules. The teams are merely a diversion, with a small bonus at the end.

If you read the rules carefully, you see that cooperation and communication is highly discouraged, rendering team work almost academic.

I disagree with the above... I think that an organiser has seriously underestimated the role teams will play in this competition and I hope it won't lead to another "rules roller-coaster" like in other tournaments / heart-breaking dramas a'la mexican soap operas / spreading conspiracy theories and so on...

I know most of the players who are taking a part in this event - I had a pleasure to play with or against them in the past. There are 20-25 really decent and experienced warriors here. I don't expect many results 500+ points on this map after 30 days (especially with 4 days peace period). Therefore 50% add-on to the winning team and 25% for the 2nd one will be factors, which will make a significant difference and even those who cannot see it right now will realise this around day 15 :P

We play the 4 games and after that we will be smarter ...

But what I can say at the moment I want to optimize the way of registration and joining the game.

Again. Without division of the team into geographical zones, there will be no team game. Not at all!!! It's a fact! Which has been tested more than once in tournaments. I personally participated in three tournaments and all where there were teams scattered on continents, were extremely unpleasant.

Personaly, I thought that all the blue team will be in North America like on the picture. lol

I thought about a team continent battle which would be, by the way, very interesting.

This is not only my opinion, but also the opinion of many players. I hope at least one of the developers of the tournament will listen.You wrote that you learn how to make team games, and I advise you how it will be more interesting and better.
