Shallow Pool Liga (SPL)
Following a suggestion made by Vorlon, the Players League management has authorized me to establish some starter games. These games will begin around mid-month, and last just 2 weeks. The intent is to give basic training to new players. Each game will have several mentors from the PL ‘senior’ players. The rules will be standard PL, but no points will be given. The games will start about mid-day, server time, with a 3 day peace period, which means about 60 hours. Given sufficient interest, the first game will start 15 July.
The choice of map will be determined by the number of entrants.

Unlike the standard PL monthly sign-up threads, questions and suggestions are welcome on this thread.

A 14 day game sounds a bit short to me, but there should be a lot of action if everybody is on the same timetable.
Is the peace period against AI as well, or just human players?

I would like to join if possible. I realize it might not be because you are looking mostly for newer players.
