Team or individual scoring?

PLEASE DO NOT VOTE IF YOU DON'T PARTICIPATE IN THE PLAYER'S LEAGUE

Individual: whatever you do, you score your own points, and do not share them with your coalition mates in any way.

Team-based: the coalition members work together for a team score; at the end of the game everyone in the coalition scores the same points (as it is now).

My mix suggestion is to score the VP's as a team and give any individual achievement bonuses to the individual,

How about individual VPs plus (the coalition score/number of members)? If not in coalition, double the person's VPs.

That way each coalition members has an incentive to try and gain VPs. That would give coalitions a bit less incentive to just go with NAPs.

The weights of individual and coalition scores could be different depending on what the players would like.
