has this been cancelled? seriously? do we have to play the official WC, is there no scope for people doing their own thing?

You can play whatever you want, but you may NOT call it the same name. There is one official Alliance World Cup. If you wish to organize a series of games between yourselves feel free, but you have to come up with a different name.Captain Hurricane wrote:

Didn't realise there were trademark issues on the name lol.
but seriously, can COW support some of these organisations? We would like to have a bash of a few Alliances playing against each other on a 50p or 100p map.
If we requested the creation of such a map with a password for a few alliances would that be something that COW GO's could do?

The Community Coordinator @Dr. Leipreachán can create such a game for you if you have 50% or more of the slots full, so 25 players or more for a 50, and 50 players or more for a 100. Just provide him with a list of all the participants and he will add them to the map when it is created I believe.Captain Hurricane wrote:

Scheduling of such maps may be delayed during the running of special event maps because of server load.
