a country that i invaded had one of its provinces switched to germany

so basically, i invaded czechoslovakia and then after that the province of pilsen switched to Germany even though I got no notification that he declared war on me, why is that?

That province most likely revolted and decided to join Germany. Germany does not need to declare war on you to obtain that province. Revolts occur when morale is less than 31%. Read this wiki page, it should help: https://wiki.callofwar.com/wiki/MORALE_%26_UPRISINGS
