CarKing the 6th of the Abrahamic Caliphate
Somewhat new and confused about the meaning of all these terms being thrown around? You’ve come to the right place! I will try to define as many terms as possible here. Any contributions are welcome and appreciated, hopefully this can grow to include everything someone may want to know.
A/C or AC- Armored Cars.
AA- Anti Ai.
ACAI- Historical World War, but with 73 players.
Antartica Map- Dominion: Antarctica 40 Player Map.
Arty- Artillery, specifically the artillery unit.
AT- Anti tank.
Atts/AB/Dive Bombers - Attack Bombers.
Backstabber- A person who betrays their allies, (Usually after an exchange of Share map/RoW through diplomacy or a coalition.) often executed with placing unit in one of the victim's empty cities, and then declaring war, resulting the fall of the city to the backstabber, (this method usually done in multiple province or cities simultaneously) or by ambushing vulnerable armies of the victim (Often done in tandem with placing units in cities and done against multiple armies.)
BB- Battleships.
Blitzkrieg/Blitz (Map)- Also a small historical 10 player map, not to be confused with the in-game tactic.
Blitzkrieg/Blitz (Tactic)- Tactic which involves a rapid invasion of an enemy, usually including many fast units, melee and air combat. Designed to quickly end a war in a short time.
CC- Cruisers. (You won’t see this and the previous that often, though.)
Commie/Communist Doctrine- Other ways commonly used to refer to the Comintern doctrine.
CON- Clash of Nation 22 Player map.
COW- Call of War.
CV, sometimes CVV- Aircraft Carriers. Sometimes AC may be used incorrectly in their place.
DD- Destroyers.
Doomstack/Deathstack- An over-stacked unit numbering higher than 10. Although this reduces combat effectiveness, (Only the 10 highest units of each damage stat will deal damage in a stack) it gives the army a huge amount of health.
FFA- Free for all maps.
Forts- Interchangeably used for Bunkers and Fortifications.
FP- Frontline Pioneers, they play-test versions of the game that are still in development and hunt for bugs.
FT- Flame Tanks.
Fuel- Often used in place of oil.Gold Spam/Golding- Heavy use of gold, purchased or earned. Usually seen as dishonorable, though not against any rule in the game. Not to be confused with a user of High Command, who may not always use that much gold.
Golder- Person who uses a significant amount of gold.
HC- High Command, a premium account in the game.
HT- Heavy Tanks.
HWW- Historical World War 30 Player map.Inf- Infantry units, specifically the infantry unit itself.
Ints- Interceptors, also called Fighters.
LI- Local Industry.
LT- Light Tanks.
Meat Shield- Deriving from Shoot n’ Scoot, except there's no need to run as there would be a shielding force in front of the artillery to block any incoming attacks. Only works in sufficient numbers. (The basic idea)
Mil- Occasionally used to refer to Militia.Missile- Commonly used in place of rocket.Mot/Mech inf- Motorized and Mechanized infantry.
MP- Manpower.
MT- Medium Tanks.
NB- Naval Bombers.
Nukes- Usually for Nuclear Bombers, since rockets are used very rarely.
OF- Ordinance Foundries.
Order 66- Term for a tactic in which a player positions troops across a nation with shared map or ROW, and then attacks them to conquer all of those provinces with no warning.
PA- Pan-Asian Doctrine.
PO- Propaganda Offices.
RA - Rocket Artillery.
RC- Recruitment Stations/Centers.
RF- Sometimes used for Rocket Fighters.
RRG- Railroad Guns.
Row- Right of Way.Shoot n’ Scoot/ Shoot and Scoot- Tactic where players will use a ranged unit(a) in friendly territory against melee units. Ranged units will move into range, bombard a melee unit, and then move back using the 50% speed advantage in friendly territory. Repeated to cause much damage to an enemy.
Skip Upgrading- Tactic where upgrades are coordinated in such a way that when a unit completes upgrading to a lower level, the next upgrade is already researched. This enables units to reach higher levels faster and more cost-effectively, as there's no downtime between upgrades and it costs less overall.
SM- Share Map.
SP- Self Propelled.
SPAA- Self Propelled Rocket Artillery.
SPRA- Self Propelled Rocket Artillery.
Stacks- Refers to a particular group of units. (Usually two or more, as a single unit is just referred to as a unit.)

TP- Tank Plants.
WAW- World at War 100 Player map.
2X, 4X, 6X, Etc…- Refers to different speed maps, like the 4x World at War map.
The Union- THE GLORIOUS UNION OF SOVIET SOCIALIST REPUBLICS!
Please correct me and contribute any things I forgot. I will try to expand this as time goes on.

I wish the mods would pin it so that newcomers could learn the terms nice and quickly.
Another term for you, might be a bit outdated (from 1.0Carking the 6th wrote:

Black Ops - When a nation is about to be defeated, an ally gives them a city and enough resources for upkeep. The conquered nation then goes on surgical strike missions for important coastal cities of the enemy, and gives the conquered resources to the player. This was back in the day units could be traded, so the host nation would give the conquered ally a few units to complete the mission. Not that relevant, but a cool addition to add.
Another term: Order 66 - Informal term used when a player positions troops across a nation with shared map or ROW, and then attacks them to conquer all of those provinces all of a sudden (Not sure of the origin, I learnt the term from Taureor, and I think the others who use it learnt it from me).
Black ops is just exile at this point, it never is spoken about or used these days. But order 66…
Also you watch Taureor as well? So noble.
What self-respecting history nerd doesn't watch Taureor?Carking the 6th wrote:
