CoW 1.5 Paratroopers tips

Paratroopers are a very useful unit in the game. Especially on the first offensive run. If researched early, paratroopers can help you get through enemy lines without touching it's defense. I also use it for destroying enemy economy. Paratroopers are real bad for defense and noobies who use it as infantry regiments, stop! Paratroopers are flying troops and should be used like that. Lets start the guide...

If you attack a country through a naval route, it is a bad choice to send paras before makin an airstrip. The best thing is, get some fast troops and a couple of militia from where u attack. Now, send you fast troops in every direction. Make an airstrip in the central place. It takes quite some time to make that. Meanwhile send your paratroopers. Now, don't wait. The enemy would have killed your troops till now. Send them on attack order to every city/resource rich province nearby/in range. If they survive, well n good. Make airstrip there, convert them into aircraft form and reuse them. Do not mourn on Paratroopers' death... or try to save them with other units. Better keep your paratroopers in infantry form when near enemy lines. Do not keep in aircraft form near borders. Rather make an airstrip nearby and keep them there. If u attack through your border, use your paras on your first go. A surprise attack is the power of your paratroopers. Lets assume you have 20 paratroopers. And u can access only 2 enemy cities. Attacking these 2 cities with 10 paras each is not a good idea. Rather send 2 at first go, make an aircraft Factory, and then send the rest through move command. If u think the enemy has better troops then you, defend for a day. His economy is destroyed and he can't produce much now. Sending paras again is worthless as his morale/produce is already down. You can now force into his line. Right of way through ai nations is a huge bonus to use paratroopers. A double surprise to the enemy.
