I remember that some time in the past military sabotage(both golded attacks and spies at day change) would be shown in the news. It would say something like "Building damaged in x province: x building. Sabotage cannot be ruled out." Don't know when they took that feature out.
Guide to espionage
I’m a relatively new player, only seven games under my belt, but I won five of them. I largely credit these forums and guides with making it easy to learn the game.
With that said, I really wish I knew more about espionage. Any chance someone could put together a guide for that?
I’ve learned several lessons the hard way like keeping enough cash on hand to pay your spies upkeep at day change.
I wish I knew more about ways to counter other spies. I know the obvious counterespionage, but what to do once you locate opposing spies? Can you get ride of them?
Also, sure they have a 50% success rate, but success to do what exactly? How often will a spy on a military sabotage mission damage a building or reveal a their troop locations? What else will they do and how often will they succeed at their mission without it making the newspaper? How often will they be caught, when they are caught how often do they reveal their employer? Is there much of a benefit to having multiple spies working counterespionage in the same city? Sorry for so many questions, but that’s precisely why I think a guide may be appropriate.

Soo to stop enemy spy your provinces, where Is Better ti put counter espionage?and in What Number? 1 Is enough or for a max efficiency is Better to put 5?
I'm really not aware of any ways to counter spies effectively. The best way I can think of is to place a spy or two on intell gathering so you can get their spy locations, then place your CI spies in that province and hope they don't move them.SaskeOtaku wrote:

You can also anticipate them spying on you and change your orders just before day change to give the impression you have different intentions than you really do.
I think I heard somewhere that for counter-intel spies it isn't important where you place them in your empire... but this is hearsay.
