How to PUNISH players that surprise attack on you(Great for fighting players much stronger than you)

The thing that most players are angry about is when players surprise attack you right? Instead of placing your artillery on aggressive, this is what you can do to make bots team up on them and destroy them. The moment you realize they are coming for you without declaring war, place them on trade embargo. Their popularity should drop. If they still come for you, make peace with them the moment before they attack you. AI hate this very much, and my enemy’s popularity dropped from about 60% to 29%. Then the next day, bots will start attacking them, just let the bots do the work while you can chill, watch the bots finish them off and you can also take some land.
