I am interested but there has been some odd restrictions last I checked on each other in the group... what will it be here and now?

One way to implement role play in a particular scenario is to ask developer to create a map where you have the option of joining one of two coalitions. For example in a 39 historical map you could join only one of two coalitions (e.g. either Allies or Axis)- or even create a new 41 historical map. Perhaps 5 coalition members could be allowed and a minimum level required for membership to reduce dropouts (e.g. level 40). The Axis Coalition may be made up of Germany (a 41 Germany would have many non-core provinces), Japan, Italy, Romania and Manchuria. The Allies coalition could be made up of Russia, UK, Nationalist China, US, and perhaps India ...

They did something like that before, with the Endgame 1944 map, where there were three premade alliances, the Axis, Allies, and Soviets, and i think the Rise of the Patriot map too. Either way, it would be interesting, reenacting WW2 almost exactly as it happened in COW.

That be great, but perhaps have Axis, Allies, and the Eastern Bloc, so the Axis aren't entirely overgunned ( but so they still could be, depending on how diplomacy works out) Plus, it could add a cold war element to it, between the Allies and the Soviets, or however the game plays out. In fact, now that i think about it, a Cold War map would be great, Communists vs. Capitalists, already armed with nuclear missiles and the such, but not so crowded together like in the Doomsday map.

Somebody suggested a map at the time of Barbarossa (Germany's invasion of Russia in summer of 41) ... Or it could be Dec 41 after Pearl Harbor ...

One idea I had was to convert 39 map to team play (much like coalitions) ... At first I thought of 2 teams, but later the idea evolved to 3 teams as out lined below:

1) Green team: UK, USA, France, Nationalist China, India

2) Red Team: Russia, Communist China, Mongolia, Xinjiang, Peru

3) Blue team: Germany, Japan, Italy, Romania, Manchuria

Perhaps the idea may evolve in team membership or timeframe ...
