NATO Style Alliance forming...looking for serious co-players?

Hey folks,

I am looking to start a new alliance for folks who are mature, serious players and can check in at least a few times a day. We would work together inside games as a well-organized alliance.

PRINCIPLES:

-Mutual Defense

-Strategic Cooperation

-Preferential Trading Partners

-Map Sharing

-Absolute loyalty

Please reply if truly interested...

Just won a game with a five people alliance like that... but the problem then was... how to end the game? Cause you must be down to three before you can get the game to end... now we conquered the world, but two of us must go inactive for the game to end...

Thought of any solution for that?

When the enemy is driven back, we have failed. When he is cut off, encircled and dispersed, we have succeeded.

I'd be happy to join in such an alliance. Playing alone on a 100ppl map gets annoying. Or simply boring.

It's true that at some point of time if you are playing 5 people, some will need to resign. Or go out with a bang. Usually the problem solves itself because people simply drop out somewhere along the way to the end. If you have a truly persistent group and get everybody to the very end it shouldn't be a problem to make a system where some people give up a round only to be put on the first place in another round. Unless some individuals are really hungry for the 1st place and can't stand having to give up their position it should work fine. I for example am more interested in the process leading up to the 5 of us having the map divided entirely between us and wouldn't mind switching up a bit so I get the podium in one game and pass it on to somebody else in another.

I would love to play in a group like this. Playing alone on a 100 map is very frustrating and lonely, especially when you are always backstabbed.

Dudes,

I am so happy to get your responses. I felt like no one was mature enough to work as a team, communicate like adults, coordinate attacks and be a true, serious, fierce and loyal alliance! I will start an alliance and then send you invites!

Pax Romana typically joins world maps with a 'Race' mentality. We recruit who we can into the alliance. We strike down anybody who opposes.

When the game finishes, everybody not in top 3 already have agreed to archive, so that the top 3 receive gold.

OK dudes, look for the alliance, "NATO Supremacy"

Tag is "THENATO"

Sounds interesting.

Yeah I'm in 100 player maps are cool and all but having a team to help out is what makes it fun.

Does sound interesting.

I like the maturity part. I'm probably one of the oldest (age wise) player.I play the game for fun; don't give two hoots about the gold. I don't normally use it anyways, only to keep the troops alive when the market dries up.

Back stabbing has been a real issue with me. If I make a NAP or SM with someone, I adhere to it or give them plenty of notice when it needs to be broken. In one game I played my opponent whom I was ready to invade sent me a message that he was going to be busy for the next three days and couldn't log in. Could I wait until he could get back online to invade? Sure. It's just a game. So I did. BUT.... he didn't tell me when he was back and then invaded me; caught me off guard but I was able to recover. Point is, I hope they don't do this in real life.

I just want to enjoy the game without playing with 'kids'.

We need an 'over 50' alliance. :)

Agreed Cerealnerd. You were a good player in my RPG. :)
