Players League 6 (Start on 1 january 2016)

I'm interested, but would like to play on a world map. Do you only plan on the smaller map?

I would suggest that we try other maps than 22 Europe. Would be cool with some of the other maps like blitz or similar. (Blitz has huge resources, so very fun)

Hello to all players!

I don't know if all signed players will be enter the game on 01/01/2016. (it often happens, that one or two players are not interested anymore) I will send the game-ID and the password, to all reserved players in the morning time of second day. If not all slots filled up with players, these reserved players can get into the game.

I noticed i can't come on on the 01.01. and 02.01, so i can't join this player league. I will try the next though

I'm still not 100% sure if there's an opening or not, but it there's not. I would love to be in the reserve list.

One idea - to make clear the end of the game, when 3 allied players combined reach the total to win the game the game is declared ended and Players League places are allocated at this point in time

Depends whether all 3 are prepared to press the retire button. Ive seen in my s1914 days PL games where fighting continued with 3 players left.

Not really, nobody follow the rules. just forget it.

Really? People join a league because they are not happy with the general playing conditions then they don't follow rules? That is sad to hear. If so means we have to rely on Bytro.

also they follow rule : "no gold usage" and may be "no a-bomb and rockets", but they did chained alliances, so i quited, i dont play with rulebreakers. I mean Co-gropunder of PL Miech has broked rule, and 3 veteransplayers. also no sanktion from other co-grounder awaited. this is epic fail of "fair PL"

f118 feels hard done by

Truth is that Xarus for PL 6 game added a modified "no alliance chaining" rule and many of us "PL veterans" did not notice this. Oops. Since then all alliances in the game have been changed to accept this rule and the game continues. No real hardship has ensued. I and others really tried hard to involve f118 in an alliance but he messed around and is paying the price now (there is an advantage set up your alliance quickly in a PL game).

So "Sleepless" it is still a good forum for gold-free games with good levels of player involvement ie players keep going in the game despite hardship (another point at which f118 "fails the PL test" BTW if he has quit already).

In PL 6 I am making a point of allying with newer players rather than the successful "old guard" to keep things fresh.

Anyway, the idea is to start a new PL game on the 1st of each month so you can apply to join the 1st February game?
