*UPDATE 8-5-16: Rogodetersnowl is the clear and decisive winner, 24 points and missed a good few games as well to get them. Special mention to Para and Milo for having the best 'point rate' and Wild for usually ending up in the top 3.

*update 10-5* fixed screw up on my part

Lets hope next season will show a few new people rising towards the top - Para and Milo are relatively new additions to the PL, so its perfectly possible.

Hello all,

Here I will post updates regarding individual players performance in the PL. Points are stacked, so playing more matches means having a higher chance to be on top. I might consider a reset after 10 games, so its not the same people on top for forever. But lets get to those 10 games first!

Points are given out to the top 4 still active. Not active at endgame means no points. 1st - 7 points 2nd 4 points - 3rd 2 points - 4th 1 point. Ive picked this so that winning is encouraged as much as staying active till the end - even with 1 province! *addition* 4 bonus points if you achieve a 'solo win' by getting the needed amount of points.

Since I seem to have forgotten to post in the PL 1 thread who the top 3-4 were I will guestimate (wretched memory!). Game is not in my archive anymore as well. I do seem to remember to have won.... Please do correct me if I am wrong about the final results (which is likely). Xarus? Czar? Enma?

I'm thinking about the points for the winning players. I most games the last three players are working together, so they fighting hand in hand, and in the end the get so much different points for they cooperation?

My suggestion for the final points are:

1. player gets 5 points

2. player gets 4 points

3. player gets 3 points

A player that win a round alone, by reaching the needed points for this map, get 4 extra points, the second player gets only 3 points and 2 points for the third player.

All other players that will be active and have minimum of one province left, get 1 point. But I promise that never will happens.

I like your idea regarding the 'bonus for solo win' and will implement it. Cant even remember what country I played. Too long ago and I have many (S1914) PL games under my belt that causes memory confusion

I would definitely support a rating system to give more credit to team members in the game.

I know I came top of PL3 only because Boccacio, trycster and myself worked well together as a team and they should be rewarded for that - I am more than happy to give up some of my points for first place to them

As much as I value the Xmas spirit in sharing, the game is ultimately a single player game.

I am thinking for a while to have a sort of PL special after the 10th game to have a team game. Or earlier if demand is high for it
