Players League
The PL is a series of games which is created by players for players.
The League starts every 1st. of a month a new game on different maps, with the players that have signed for the next game. Nobody needs to play every game. The winners of a match get points for the hall of fame.
Rules
the use of GOLD is forbidden
a maximum of 2 allies per player¹ (SM), other players can only be NAP partners with ROW or lower.
a NAP must have runtime or an exit condition.
the use of rockets is forbidden
the use of nukes is forbidden
after start we have a peace period of 24h² for AI and players, in these time is forbidden to attack enemy
Espionage with economic and with military sabotage is an act of war
It's not allowed to enter a game after day 3
Footer:1 = Build an alliance of three players - like this way: A allied with B & C; B allied with A & C; C is allied with A & B - no D and no E

NAPs and stuff like that are gentlemans agreements and it is as such not against the rules to break those.
We could discuss repeat offenders be banned from PL, but I suggest you take it up with Xarus who is a admin of the previous rounds.
Breaking a NAP without meeting exit condition is a bad move, rumor will spread and this person will find himself/herself not being able to ally or make deals with anyone except those who haven't heard about it.

Regarding your post, its just as WildL says. I have no idea who the offender is, since I am no longer in the game, but some people are just less then honorable. Chalk them up, remind yourself who they are and be warned for the next time. In the real WW2, there is also a prime example of a NAP being broken in 1941.
While I personally find it distasteful to break a NAP, there are some rare cases I did it myself when an ally was attacked by the NAP partner or having clear 100% proof that an attack by a NAP partner (or 'ally') was imminent before expiration.
You would be missed if you dont join up, as you seem the gentlemanly and fair type and I enjoyed our diplomatic exchange for instance, even though it failed in the end.
Sadly, such offenders rarely join more PL games in my experience, so they will never learn the concept of long term effects of their actions.
