Onion has been proven to have multiple alts in the past, such as Buenos Boy and Guatemala Guy. The names of his alts follow a particular pattern (e.g A country, and then an alliterative word for a person afterwards), so it's reasonable to assume that "Mauritania Man" is indeed an alt. Followed by the fact that he speaks, types and acts EXACTLY like Onion. In the past Onion created alts so he could gain huge power in RPs, and oh look, this particular account started existing JUST as we were organising a Roleplay, what a coincidence....

Not in any RP, rather he attempted to ruin one as he didn’t get what he wanted and then tried to make an alt to get into the next one (as he was banned from them after his actions for a while). Motives for this time are unclear but it’s guaranteed to be him.
