1944 end game

UK is pretty strong too. It starts with 20+ ships and 15+ aircraft and can easily defeat west Germany. East Germany is pretty strong...but if it is weak then soviets will crush him. South Germany already sucks as it is attacked by America and U.K., which are both really strong, and also may get attacked by south soviet. If you pick Germany, you do get more troops and units, but you are squeezed between Soviet and allies. If every player is active, then what will most likely happen is south Germany gets crushed by U.K., America, and south Soviet. Then West Germany will also be attacked by U.K., France, and America and with the massive Air Force of the U.K., it will destory his mainland troops. UK’s navy can make sure Norway and mainland Germany get separated, then Norway can get bombarded by a few naval ships and a few UK troops would be able to take it with help from Balkan front. East Germany may be able to defeat the central Russian front and attack Balkan front, but with west and south Germany down, he will also be crushed.

Very true. When I played Belorussian Front a while back, I tried to attack East Germany with Baltic front together (Ukrainian front went inactive right after game start), but Baltic front was being useless, and since the Allies were also kinda useless, West Germany came and helped East Germany, and for a time it was really hard (even though East Germany wasn't even a decent player). It was only later when I got my airforce that I was able to push them back and eventually win. If any decent player gets East Germany, then the Soviets are kinda screwed.
