22 Clash of Nations Libya play through

I’m going to make one of these threads so here we go. I immediately started the round by building 2 barracks and 3 tank plants I usually try to go for a more well rounded start but I since this is a tiny map I figured that I can work on ordinance/air/navy by day 2 and for now just conquer my neighbors. So after that I checked on my neighbors stats and found that Egypt to the east is level one along with Algeria to my west. Well now that I know I’m surrounded by 2 players that just started CoW my priorities changed instead of going for a solo win I now have one goal, to lead these newbies to victory and give them a game they shall remember. As of now I’m sending messages to them to request becoming allies and I’ll update this when there is more to say.

no theme easier to give advice when its straightforward

for libya i recommend going with 3 tank plants and 2 barracks like you did, go for tunisia early on and team with turkey to take out egypt. Split egypt with the suez canal. This gives you 3 cities. In these cities build all aircraft factory. In these, build tactical bombers and use airfields to fly them to the algeria border. then move your 3 light tank + 2 motorized infantry stacks near the algerian border. attack algeria with your troops and planes. After you take out algeria build 5 ordnance factories in the 5 cities. In these make 3 SP artillery and 2 SPAA. switch production in core tank plants to medium tanks instead of light tanks. upgrade all your buildings and start making 3 medium tanks + 2 motorized infantry + 3 SP Arty + 2 SP AA supported with stacks of 5 tactical bombers + 5 attack bombers. This should counter anyone still using the early game setups. Take out Morocco next and build whatever has the highest production times to speed up stack production. After taking over Africa continue making more stacks, upgrading those specific troops, and upgrading those buildings. You can then go for Europe through Spain, Italy, or Turkey. Dont worry about end game setups, europe games rarely reach that stage.

In my opinion, play throughs should be fun to read and without a theme its just words words and more words.
