But nowadays, we think that women are as good as men at the 'worldly' thing. Only now, instead of their husband's fidelity & willingness to protect, women now get money in return. Which is OK, it's their choice to be independent. But then girls think they're actually independent, as in "we can run worldly things on our own, without men". This is the mistake, as most hardworking jobs physically or mentally (lawyer, senior officer, construction, army, police/security, programming) are done by 90% men.
The moment society thinks that softness, empathy and harmlessness is enough to rule the world physically, is where it gets bad. Governments start making silly naive decisions in dream-y matters and avoiding real problems.
The softness and empathy would save us if it returned to where it used to dwell, between women and their family, and the world-solving quality of men returned to politics.
This way it's kinda switched, women often dominating men in personal affairs (women being dominant and relentless like men). Meanwhile, the West (as in government) is getting soft like a girl. Can't handle criticism, wants to morally safeguard other countries like children, thinks I'm so friendly and everyone wants me, but must invade any country that even subtly touches them.
I'm not questioning the safety & well-being I now have 'thanks' to the West, but it was still mostly men who worked on the worldly face of it. In unimaginable conditions sometimes (industrial revolution 16-hour shifts). All I'm saying, is we must remember that each gender has a different purpose, using the West as an example of what happens when you think men and women are 'equal' (not 'different') and force them to comply (by shaming the 'oppressor' men).
Now to be fair 'gender equality' can reduce violence. Yes. If anyone's been a victim, they likely know better than I do. 'Gender equality' can only occur in an unhealthy society though, as in: a democratic society, with its people (especially men, but women too, it affects us all) so comfortable and sedativized that they don't act on anything. Just people interacting organically, creating their own 'important' things (often low-value debris or a means to comfort) without a joint purpose and not responsible to anyone for it. 'Gender equality' will only blow back at you in the form of society not achieving anything, gradual entropy (loss of energy and structure) until it collapses and you send men back to 14-hour factory shifts because girls would be harmed by such a filthy job.
Why am I always typing a TL;DR into CoW forum... I guess God will throw me into some real labor now, to make me realize that I too have a 'soft' job and existence. Not always though.
If you have above 10k manpower, you're not investing properly. A good player never has many resources.
Larger armies destroy enemies faster without taking damage from them.
Build only: 1 military building in each city, airstrips, and recruiting stations to boost manpower.
Minimize research, 2 unit types early, 6 types in late game. Upgrade old units, but: artillery lv1 to lv2 is a waste, only lv1 to lv4 is worth it.
