I'm in a Clash game as FInland. It's Day 5, I've already taken Sweden, Norway and Karelia, and now I'm moving into Communist Russia. That player is active, and they start rushing stacks to defend. I can tell by both their stats and what they're building that they are a noob. So I take 2 cities from him and I'm closing in on his capital, when all of a sudden he published this article in the newspaper accusing me of using Gold to defeat him. He makes vivacious claims that I "couldn't have produced 7 LT that quick" or I "built 5 buildings in a city in one day" with zero evidence whatsoever to back it up. Within 5 minutes of C. Russia publishing the phony article, both Poland and Caucasus (who took over the Cossack Republic and shares a land border with C. Russia) declared war on me. Southern United States also declared war on me, despite them being on the opposite side of the map, and despite them being in a grueling war with Northern US. Poland is a decent player, but both Caucasus and Southern US are noobs (via stats) and had no reason whatsoever to declare war on me. I've never had this happen to me before, and while I'm confident that I could beat them in a fight (both Poland and Caucasus have small armies compared to mine), what is apparent is that all 3 of them declared war on me because someone said I was using Gold. In short, players will declare war on other players because of suspected (but not proven) Gold use, even if it could spoil their chances of winning?

Had it happen to me on WaW a month ago
got invaded by 5 players, lasted 26 hours then collapsed 
When that happens you should gold and then kick all their asses. Very fun. Either way any player who does something like that with no proof probably won’t win the game anyway.
Same thing is happening to the Russian Empire in my game, he may be strong but my spies revealed all of his armies. Operation Barbossa coming soon...

Russia continues to spend gold, and claims that he could "drop a grand" into the game to defeat me. Instead he tries to flex his vacations to the overpriced islands of Hawaii and the third world Indochina. Russia also claims that I am cheating and my allies are alts. Although we have lost around 100,000 soldiers, we have slowed down his attacks and Italian reinforcements are ready to launch a counterattack in the Baltics. I stopped reading his messages, and you can see him heal and produce soldiers by the minute. He's definitely gonna make it far in life.
