Add bridges
Developers should add bridges as a buildable support building. The Bridge have to be built in both sides of the river (two provinces). Units that cross the bridge won't have to embark and disembark.

I also agree. Crossing a supa small river but you need to use an ocean liner and two ports is brainrot
Some people do not seem to understand how difficult it is to build and defend a bridge in a place where there are no cities nearby and where hostile military organizations frequent the area.
dude bridges are built behind the lines and even though they are built in the frontlines, the difficults can be showen to slow because the low moral.
We have bridges, that's the little red area where one crosses the river.
When rivers were added they removed the Paths from 1 province to another. what they should do is put the paths back add a bridge and also add an engineer unit that would be able to destroy the bridge or repair it
The whole point of those navigable rivers was to make you find new tactics for defending or attacking a limited number of river crossings. Even after the update, it's s still too easy to land a large mechanized army anywhere on the planet
Removing the reveal-all makes that an even better option now. There's no advance warning; patrolling an ocean for incursion is simply too hard.

Bridges are being discussed. If we do them, then it won't be an easy task, there are super many edge cases to consider here. But I am personally hopeful that we will get them.
Would be fun, if it is quality tested. There are paths in the real world where you are able to cross a 'river' without a bridge, but very slowly .... this could be made by extra long 'paths'.
Of all the things to improve, bridges would not be high on my list.
Strat bombers need a rethink. Too powerful.
Amphibious landings in general, not just rivers. Too easy.
Functional equivalence between Arty and Rocket Arty. Same resources, similar role. Neither is good against heavy armor.
Difficulty of finding navies. Reveal all was the only practical tool. There needs to be a spy option that works on water.

I like the brige idea, but unfortunately, it becomes a solution to the unnecessary downgrade and dumb addition of rivers. The fact that you can sail battleships into the heart of Colorado is beyond stupid. There are other examples of unrealistic and silly river locations on the global map, but that one stands out every time I play since I'm near the state.BananyBanana wrote:
