Well, 1.5 will mean small countries can produce units faster, since big nations have good technology and will take longer time to produce units.

ALL IS IN 1.5 version
When new version come to this map will small countries have a big chance to stay alive ? or will it be same ?

But smaller countries will have daunting resource problems, especially seeing as only cities truly provide enough resources to sustain a viable empire.

South Africa! It’s really fun! You won’t have many points at the start but if you get to Europe or the Arabian plate fast enough you can quickly expand! Plus you will have a lot of oil if you reach arabia.gusv wrote:

I played South Africa in 39 historical map ... I got to a good start going north until I got past Zaire (formerly) Belgian Congo) where I was slowed down by a lot of tiny little provinces without resources ... I did not do too bad- I finished 2nd to a level 100 player ...RiverWolf74 wrote:

When I played South Africa I started by attacking Portugal’s colonies. I didn’t attack Belgian Congo, British Egypt, and Italy’s colonies. I took UK’s land in Africa and Arabia, then backstabbed my former ally Liberia because he had almost no troops. Then I attacked Oman and Yemen and Saudi Arabia. After Arabia was finished I joined a coalition with Romania and Turkey and Argentina. Then I attacked Portugal with Romania and We just barely won. I didn’t know where to expand after that so I just attacked carribeand and then helped my ally Argentina take US.gusv wrote:

Sometimes many countries turn on Germany together and give him a hard time but if you survive the first few days you are good for the rest of the games...but Germany is pretty boring like if you want to play Germany why not just play historic world war you should try SMALL nations that’s the whole point of the event. If you want to have an easy win...then pick the most powerful nations obviously, but if you like a challenge try a nation that isn’t avaialable in historic world war.Undaunted wrote:
