AA guns are in attacking stacks to improve the odds of reaching the air base (or other provinces) with sufficient forces to take it.

Anti Air Guns
at this point the AA guns are useless, AA guns are meant for DEFENCE not to bring your AA guns so they can go and attack the air base the planes are coming from, if you bring your AA guns to defend against planes then they should be shooting the planes out of the sky!!! please do something to fix this

ok but thats not what an AA gun is for, it is for when airplanes are coming to you you use your AA guns to take them out of the sky

anti-air has lower chance to shoot planes down. But when planes attack anti-air, planes get lost. So it is not an active attacking weapon.

AA guns return fire when attacked by planes AND that damage to the planes is calculated BEFORE the air attack on the ground stack is calculated. If the plane is destroyed by the AA then the plane will do no damage to the AA or the stack that the AA is a part of.
