Apocalypse: The Second World War
Btw, for some reason ive lost my “writing skill” so this is trash, Also IMMA Speed run this part so we can get up to date
PRENOTE: I have joined an All In round (Germany) with Ciro (Italy). I created the coalition Axis Powers, he joined. The games is ongoing and im not optimistic- the whole world is against us. Also all “fascist/nazi “references” are entirely for RP purposes, therefore legal under German law, which states it is OK to use it for purposes of art, which I suppose this counts as. Let us begin:
The German Empire is an industrious nation- however Axis Doctrine strains the economy. Therefore, I had to expand, and expand fast. So, upon receiving the title Reichskanzelor, an invasion of the Benelux and Poland was launched. German forces swept through the Netherlands, Belgium and Luxembourg, and took ¾ of Poland with ease. Poland capitulated- its remainder was renamed: Fascist Lesser Poland.
At this point, me and Ciro had two different focuses and two different front. I was focusing on creating a good navy, artillery and good Axis units. My main target was France, and the USSR. I was also very “nice”. Many nations became my protectorates, under the following conditions:
At various points throughout the game, the following nations became German Protectorates and had name changes:
Hungary (the player, whilst quite new, had won a war against Romania)
Fascist Republic of Lithuania (Had united the Balts, good player)
Norway-Finland (I like to combine the two because they were actually so close- conquered Sweden together, newbies)
Fascist Lesser Poland
Fascist Slovakia (I reckon as good as Gustav the Great)
Third Balkan War- Seeds of History
The First World War began in the Balkans- and this Second World War has its seeds sown in the Balkans too. The epic battle for the Balkan Peninsula would result in years of fighting, bloody combat, give rise to Empires and fell certain republics. It began with a Romanian invasion of Hungary.
The Nation of Romania, on May 20th, launched an invasion of Hungary. The people of Hungary were hardy fighters, however, and within a short time the tides turned. Hungarian forces began to penetrate deep into Romania. That war was short- no one paid it much attention, and it was only the calm before the storm.
The Third Balkan War really began with a single shell. Late at night, a Yugoslavian artillery force fired shells into Italy. The respond was ferocious- War was declared and Italy began its horrific invasion of Yugoslavia. Germany, honouring its alliance with Italy, rose in patriotism. The Wehrmacht sent 5 infantry units, mechanized as well as some tanks, to Yugoslavia. German forces slowly stole territory, whilst Italy stripped Yugoslavia from its coast.
But the Greeks to the south- the self-proclaimed Hellenic Republic- were not to stay silent. They launched an invasion of South Albania. Yugoslavia and Greece took Albania and shared it- overpowering the garrison of 1,300 Italians but taking 3,566 casualties. The Hellenic Navy- composed of just Battleships- then intruded Italian waters. Greek forces landed all across South Italy, and a naval battle raged. Greece proclaimed it was waging a “defensive war”- but many would disagree.
The Naval battle had the expected victor, Italy. The coasts of Yugoslavia were taken, but Germany was the one truly fuelling the offensive. German forces captured Zagreb within weeks, and neared Belgrade on the 21st. The Greeks meanwhile were pushed from South Italy, and an enraged Ciro claimed death for Greece. Nazi Germany’s leaders, however, wanted to improve relations with the International community and so brokered a peace.
However, it was not to be. Italy would not back down- by the 23rd, three attacks on Athens saw the city fell, and with it died the Hellenic Republic. Germany took Yugoslavia, granting Belgrade and its surrounding area to the fast rising Hungarian Empire. Bulgaria then fell to the Hungarians also- and so the Balkans was split into German-Italian-Hungarian spheres. But what followed was a complicated diplomatic backlash. Oman, an ally of Greece, declared war on Italy, followed by China (an ally of Oman). Italy would go on to conquer Oman, but the diplomatic backlash would leave a stain on Germany’s reputation.
Story of the East- War Spreads
In the east, Germany finally attacked Slovakia, tired of the need to place a large number of units on its borders. That nation would agree to become a protectorate, however, and its 15 units would be sent to Hungary’s Soviet border. Poland meanwhile experienced a Communist Coup, and Germany had to snuff out Lesser Poland. Lithuania also took the Balts- funded by Germany, of course. German senior officials then turned West.
Fall Gelb
On the 25th, Nazi Germany launched a huge invasion of France (AI). The initial stages were not nearly as successful as it had been hoped, however victory was certain. France is yet to be fully cleared up.
Alright nearly uptodate
Great Patriotic War
The U.S.S.R, on the 26th, launched an invasion of German-Occupied Poland, on a date which will live in infamy. Hungary and Lithuania, as well as Slovakia stayed true to Germany and attacked the USSR. Norway-Finland, however, decided to backstab the same nation that had funded it. The Kreigsmarine began to fight the enemy navy in the Balts.
Meanwhile German forces surged forward toward the main Soviet force of 13 units. The Germans had 8, however the USSR had low level units. The Battle of Sarny would rage for nearly a whole day, and wipe out both the German and Soviet main forces.
Meanwhile in the North, Colonel-General Erwin Rommel, using maverick tactics, defeated 20 Soviet units with an army of 5 (as well as 2-3 Lithuanians). He then surged south, sapped troops from Wilno and took Minsk by the 27th. On the Hungarian border, a large naval battle raged, and Germany, with artillery and planes, Hungarians acting as ashield, wiped out 20 – 25 Soviet units there. Odessa fell to the Hungarians on the 27th.
Italian forces, under the leadership of the brilliant Manstein, took no losses yet inflicted thousands. Manstein would lead the Italians to Moscow by the 27th. German general Guderian meanwhile took Kharkov, Kiev and Oryol on the 27th.
On the 27th, German Kreigsmarine spotted American ships in the English Channel.
On the 27th, Germany had induced 55,000 casualties to Russia and suffered 49,000.
On the 27th, much of West Russia lay under the thumb of the Axis.
On the 27th, The Empire of China declared war on Germany.

ah yes, bokoen’s german diplomat from hoi3 that lead the surrender of the reich
I'd advise setting up coastal defences. Sub stacks with cruisers a few blocks behind them should be able to sink a ton of convoys. Perhaps even RRG assistance from the coast would help.
The German Reich has signed peace with America!!!
Meanwhile Rommel just takes every Chinese city and keeps on going (The Fuhrer is weeping at the state of his supply lines)
In other news, the Soviet Union has lost nearly all units.
Hungary has been consumed! (pun VERY MUCH intended)
The World War is over-- but the struggle is not
