Armor in Allied Doctrine

Are armored units in the allied doctrine good and effective? Should I build them?

Why do you ask? Describe your situation and your thoughts.

I already leveled up armored cars and light tanks to level 3, but I was wondering if medium and heavy tanks were good in the allies doctrine, maybe I could use them as meat shields like I do in axis, but are there any disadvantages to that?

Protective gear worn by soldiers in battle, armor serves as a shield against enemy attacks, providing a physical barrier between the wearer and potential harm. Made from various materials such as metal, leather, or even cloth, armor is designed to absorb impact and deflect weapons, ensuring the safety and survival of the wearer in combat situations. Often customized to fit the individual soldier's body, armor plays a crucial role in military operations, offering both protection and a sense of security on the battlefield.

I use them that exact way.... meat shield.... allies or axis doesn`t matter.

Don't overlook tank destroyers in allied doctrine. They get substantial bonuses in allied doctrine. They are great on defense (meat shields) and useful if not great on offense.
