Ten or 12 high-level artillery regiments in batteries of three or four regiments each. And when the AA units in the enemy stack are eliminated or mostly eliminated, then attack with high-level tactical bombers using the patrol function. Unless your opponent has built a substantial air force of fighters to defend against your air attacks and/or tactical bombers to hit your artillery, this is a relatively straightforward siege of arty and air bombardment.general12312 wrote:

Attacking level 5 fortifications.
MAGINOT LINE, A name we are all familiar with and fear. A string of fortifications along the German border of France. In this game it is level 4-5 fortifications, increasing defence 71%-75%. With HP of 80-90, these buildings can be a pain to deal with. Level 2 rockets only do 50 damage and it would take about 10 level 5 artillery to deal heavy damage to this stronghold. Assuming the enemy has 4 infantry, 2 anti-tank guns, 3 AA-guns, and 2 artillery: all placed on a level 5 fortification in the mountains. What would be the best way to attack them?
āIf you entrench yourself behind strong fortifications, you compel the enemy seek a solution elsewhere.ā

That sounds great but could he not just keep sending men to that fortification? Since it would take place in the mountains, armor units are a loss. If the enemy sends Infantry to the fortification and uses his own artillery to attack yours, than all he has to do is keep sending artillery until you quit... right?
that is why you have several stacks coming form several directions, then when the artillery fire is drawn, you can attack, again from several directions, in case the person you are attacking switches the target of the artys. Send cheap cannon fodder first, like infantry, militia or armored cars, then the rest of your army.general12312 wrote:
