Bad units

So, I'm pretty new to CoW (been playing for about 2 months) and am not yet Level 50, with a dismal K/D ratio that I am actually too embarrassed to put on the internet.

So, needless to say, I'm still finding my feet. So I wanted to ask you guys: what are the worst units in the game? Are they completely useless or terrible, or are there ways I can use them to maximise effectiveness? Thanks!

Heavy tanks, flying bombs (only get them so you can get missiles, which aren’t very good anyway), carriers (on land maps like Antartica, ships in general are not needed) and Claudio with Light tanks

Ok, are there any way to use those units in a way to get them to work well?

Sure, I think you’ve already seen Jubs heavy tank thread? Flying bombs can destroy airstrips if you are lucky, and naval units are good on sea maps, of course. Not sure if you can fix the last one, though…

Now THAT might be impossible. Thanks very much though, very noble.

Much will depend on your play style and how active you can be, but for me I never use anti-tank guns, strategic bombers, nukes to name a few. When I join a game I am fairly active so I make heavy use of artillery.

paratroopers.

Yeah, what do you mean, me with light tanks. Isn't that supposed to be more of a Fox-Company reference?
The President

every unit has it's strengths and weaknesses learn what they do where to deploy them and which units support each other keep slow and fast units in different stacks. Militia and AT guns are both Stealth in forest and urban they make an excellent ambush stack

Meh, paratroopers can be good. For example, there are lots of players (including an irl friend), usually below level 40 that will just move all of their troops to the border as an early game strategy, but this can be broken by paratroopers. Also, they are good if you want to cross small bodies of water without the ridiculous embarking/disembarking times.

there is no useless unit there is only unit with limited use, or design specifically for specific circumstances. they were Flying bomb, Paratroopers, Rocket, Heavy Tank etc.

most of them design specifically for breaking a stalemate. i can say flying bomb can be pretty annoying in certain situation.
