I'm confused about Battleship name, What is it for? Anyone know about it?

The game software permits you to name your (1) battleships, (2) aircraft carriers, (3) nuclear battleships, (4) nuclear aircraft carriers, (5) railroad guns, (6) nuclear bombers, and (7) nuclear rockets, using a name of your own choice, provided, however, you do not choose a name that is profane or otherwise offensive.
Our German friends who run Bytro Labs would also be grateful if you don't choose names that reference/glorify Adolf H*tler, the N*zis, or any of their ilk, as Bytro is obligated to comply with German law on point, and they really don't want Call of War to become a magnet for neo-fascist whackjobs.

I just can't understand that why would using the word Hitler be so ultraoffensive in Germany.
Dictators come and go.
And hardly any dictator is flawless.
He did his mistakes and paid for it.
The mere mentioning of the word Hitler doesn't mean that someone is glorifying him.

In my school, there is an entire chapter in grade 9 History about Nazism and ride of Hitler. Further the English translation of the mein kamph is easily available in the library.
And people are absolutely chill.

It's just to add colour to the game. Naming battleships is about the most fun part of the game. Even if I did not need any battleships, I would still build one, just for the pleasure of naming it.

I commonly call my a-bomber/a-rokets with my prefered next enemy target city.
And my ships with prefered enemy i am ready to use that ship for.
I like artikles in world herold like "Italy produced atombomb *Dark rain over New York*, or Battlegroup "Red Fist of Kommintern" destroyed unit number soundso.
Or aircarriergroups *Tears of old men*, *Lost hope of childs* or whatever...

Or name it "my worst navy", so it'll be embarrassing when the enemy loses to that ship.
