Can I ask you guys for thoughts and opinions on the air force?

I see a ton of players that, in my opinion, over-invest in the air force. They make both attack bombers and tactical bombers in addition to interceptors, but usually have twice as many bombers as they do interceptors. Or in worse cases I've seen as many as 80 bombers, whether it's one or two types, with not even 20 interceptors.
They invest far too much in the air force to do the army's job and it works against the average public player so they think air force is the key to victory.
I just think it's a little foolhardy because what do you do if you come across an enemy who uses AA and has more interceptors than you? I've seen a few players suggest strategic bombers or rockets to hit air strikes, but that can be countered (although it rarely is) and it takes even more research away from the army.
What are your thoughts? Is investing the majority of your military in the air force worth it?

The evidence I would need to shut my mouth is to add you on Discord and either join a game alongside you or else have you continually update me on your game with pictures of the map so that I can see your tactics. Either you will face incompetent opponents who let you walk right in, as I predict, or else you will show me how you use superior tactics to counter enemy air power with speed.

5-6 Years, multiple accounts, hundreds of games, and players level 170 and up and I still suck? Man chill, it’s a game. No need to boast about how good we are. Someone saying they consider themselves good is not too big of a deal, even if they seem easy to beat, they still are better than most players in this game. Mostly because most don’t even know what they are doing… but that’s fine, since it’s a game. I mean if you really want to look at it being better than 80% of players is probably enough to be good. You don’t need to be a grandmaster to be good at chess, just enough to normally beat the average player, how is this game different?
Either way though, there is no need to use a tone that sort of comes off as passive aggressive. We can have a calm discussion about the game without throwing comments that are practically ad-hominems or at least a little mocking. Chill. Out. Bro. Please.

ok guys, time to butt in
winning without air is super hard, take it from a guy who fought BMfox once (that was a year ago when i had a >1 kd)
massacred by tacs on day 2
Now further proof
i recently saw an argument like this on discrod
tested it out
lost 20 units to a general with 5.9 kd on day 16
eventually won with bad losses
so it is/might be possible
but so far i usually fail to use it on WaW's without any kind of air support
again this is just my 2 cents guys feel free to criticise lol

As an Air-Lord (I am king of vehicles, not just cars!) I can say that planes are good, but it’s possible to win without them. Just hard, and probably not worth it.

He actually had about 50 more units but choose to give up and let me nuke them in Malta, even though he totally would have lived had he let us kill you. In fact he could have killed me early on but choose not to and eventually I caught up. And then he got killed. And then I won. Very good.

I'm not saying that anyone sucks. I'm not even the one who brought his stats into this--he did! I'm just pointing out that they don't tell the story that he thinks they do, and yet he continued to double and triple down on his claims so we continued to discuss them.

The 50 more units would have been defeated by me eventually. Cooker jesse, i had spies on them. Saw their airfields and bombers prepared for the accident.

Sure but it seems like you roped in the others and made this argument a bigger issue than it is. The wording seemed a bit off I guess. Anyhow I guess I might as well not quarrel. It did kinda feel like he was sort of overestimating himself though. Not sure if it’s to as big of an extent as it sounds but yeah
