Uh no. That would interfere with so much things⦠I think that would just complicate things
Core Waters
Wouldn't it be cool to have core waters? It would stretch 200 miles from your core coastline and give your ships the 15% core defense. Also if you built a port in these provinces you would get food from fishing.

Disembarking on enemy would be even harder than it is already, so i don't think it is a good idea
no it's just for the core provinces

it's not "just" core. Early to midgame most of the countries coastal provinces are almost every time only their core province. That would make disembarking onto someone in this gamestate even harder than it is already
ok

I think it's a great idea. It would give more value to naval units that are now underrated. Fishing is a real source of both food and income, I can't find any reason why it shouldn't be implemented. Being in national waters means you have the advantage. You know the local currents, you are closer to resupply and support. This could be reflected in the 15% core bonus.MiloK32 wrote:

Well it would be an incentive to prepare your invasion well. Even in the early game you should at least have a couple of destroyers and cruisers to protect your armies when they are crossing. I mean you need to protect your units. If you have a big scale invasion on another continent then you'll have destroyers against subs, cruisers against planes, battleships to counter both navy and give firing cover while your troops are landing, carriers so that you can have interceptors patrolling over your convoys and to scout inland, bombers to take out resistance or reinforcements. What do you think that happened on D-day? The Germans had fortified the coastline and they had the advantage.laaaaaaaaga wrote:

Yeah, but right now if you are on land and the enemy is disembarking from sea, you have an advantage. Your units already deal more dmg to disembarking enemy. Why would we boost it even more?
He's not talking about troops disembarking in your cores. He's suggesting that your navy should get the 15% core territory bonus too when they are in territorial waters.laaaaaaaaga wrote:
