It’s hard to determine. Countries bordering few playable countries, like Russian Empire and Sweden, have a lower chance of fight a two-sided war in early game.

South States is my favorite...can focus all troops north and do the sweep. have a small navy to guard your coast.

My favorites are Libya and Finland. With Libya, you gotta make sure you don't get attacked from two sides, but then you can either take over all Africa or join a coa with Morroco or someone else. With Finland, you can kill Sweden, then expand into Germany and-or Russia.

Turkey. Surrounded by a zillion minors, and a good position near the corner of the map. And I think it's axis doctrine, often considered the best due to across the board unit bonuses.

Comintern, but I would agree. Turkey is perfect with that doctrine since it’s far away and would have the time to built up using its doctrines bonuses. With that turtling you can pick one of three different expansion routes and basically dominate.dantheterrible wrote:
