What's with Europe - Road to War? From what I can see, it's a pretty dead map with rare matches but I have never been in a game on that map. What's different about it from others?
It's pretty much the same as the 22 player map but instead with 10 or 12(I forget) players so it goes faster.
Europe Road to War is pretty much a cross between the 22 player Clash of Nations and 1939 Blitzkrieg. It features accurate borders and provinces of the 1930's, like Blitzkrieg does, but in this game, all player countries start out with balanced armies.
Europe Road to War is kind of like a free coalition win, pick USA, then just wait and build up for everyone else to go afk, then join the last coalition and get carried to the coalition win

The US is overpowered in blitzkrieg
