Did I miss something new? I have planes (both interceptors and bombers) that have different tech levels. I.E....lvl5 and lvl6 bombers. Is this new?

It shouldn't be.
Did you buy/trade any planes with an ally? They will not upgrade when you buy them.

When you trade for aircraft with an ally, the traded aircraft units should automatically upgrade the next time you complete a research cycle for those same aircraft units.

Buying planes or ships from another country is also a nice way to get around the SBE limitation. If you stack a lvl 2 interceptor with a stack of lvl 3s, the lvl 2 counts as a separate type, so does not contribute to the reduction in damage in the lvl 3 stack.

SBDE isn't as important as people make it out to be in most situations. Just throwing that out there.

Oh yea. I forgot about that. Thanks. I didn't know about the effect on the SBE limitations. Good to know.
