Well personally i prefer LT or MT and rarely use HT cos its rly slow.
I like medium tank. They are the tanks I make most. Railroad gums have long range and are extremely powerful, so I like them. SP artillery is fast, so I like that too.
I like rail road guns, but they are really big and hard to maneuver when the enemy is moving across provinces. SP arty is my favorite ranged unit. MT AND HT is used in my army and produced at the same rate.

I am surprised by the lack of people voting for ACs. Vote for AC or racoons will haunt your dreams.
Anyway, SP arti is arguably the best armored unit as it's relatively cheap to produce and research for an armored unit (the oil price is amazingly low) and it's pretty versatile and fast at the same time. However, without SPAA or some air cover, it's very vulnerable.
