Everyone has different strategies and tactics to conquer the world. Consequently, the types of units (from different doctrines) differ. Which units do you usually prefer?

My favorite is 1.5 commandos because I just love using them to sneak around and take out those vital production centers.

Axis alows you play aggresive and attack.: mot.inf + med tanks + sp anti air/sp art and you go crazy. Its nice, because you can expand very fast. But hard to defend.

Comitern: inf+anti tank+art+aa. Cheap, fast to build, easy to defend, but you slow expanding. I always have biggest army.

Well later go planes and navy, but at the start, this is me favorite units. I m sorry, but i dont play for pan asian or allies, so i can't say anything about them.

SP arty and tac bombers. Really good for when your enemies are asleep.

SP arty is good against armoured units and tactical bombers are great against unarmoured units so that's sound advice.

However it's not bad to have both SP arty and SP rocket artillery combined and to have your air stack of both attack and tactical bomber together so that you have a combination that counters anything that your enemy throws at you.

Axis: Attack bombers

PanAsian: Light tanks

Allies: Tactical bombers

Comintern: SP rockets baby

Axis: mechanical infantry that goes without saying

Commitern: rocket artillery available at day 1, perfect to kill your neighbor's starting infantry and take him over.

Allies: air air air

Pan-Asian: interceptors, they have the fastest interceptors in the game and a bigger line of sight. You can go in for the kill on those juicy bombers and see those enemy ints coming at you before they can see you, attack them with supperior attack vs defense stats and fly out with the enemy incapable of chasing you.

Mechanised infantry all the way,fast units,best for rushing an taking urban lands,best with mot infantry and light tanks

I like regular artillery and motorized infantry combined.

Idc I have won games with it and have had them take on many wars without them dying but it's just my opinion.

Their different speed isn't really a dealbreaker as artillery units are weak to air attack they need to be stacked with a couple of SPAA which are even slower. Artillery branch units are a game changer as they serve you well all game long and they tear the enemy units to shreds without taking any damage. However if they are poorly protected they get easily destroyed and without your artillery in support the balance might shift in favour of your opponent.
