I had this idea where someone on the forum with High Command would create a private Historic World War game, and we'd try to get as many forum members in it as possible. It doesn't have to be HWW, but I thought that it would be most appropriate given the number of members. If you would want to join the game, or have any suggestions, please type in the comments.

In typical Spite is Right fashion, player takes the lead, gets war declaration. Game on TGS.
I am out, Nova is my boss
TGS Dominates another CoWmunity game, 2021 colourized.
(I didnt want this to happen, but Claudio was too annoying and i somehow managed to attack OutKast)
*insinuating that i would've Attacked Yugoslavia*
Declaring victory already?Karl von Krass wrote:

yes, I am gone, only due to the unfair update, also, there is q main competition, tgs vs spite
not even close, 4 TGS members against 1.Claudio von Panjim wrote:

Yeah, four against one on a balanced map would be a pretty amazing achievement. It's really only Yugoslavia from TGS at war with me at present. I accidentally started a war with Ukraine, so there's that. Those yellows look a lot alike. I did some economic and unit damage to Yugo, but I won't be able to hold Poland. All in all, a very difficult game.Karl von Krass wrote:

I believe that there are 5 major powers left. England, Yugoslavia, Egypt, Ukraine, and North USA. Spain, Morocco, Canada, and Turkey are still in it.
Finland is also still in the game.
Normally at this point in the game the other major players would be wary of each other. I might even be able to use diplomacy to start a war between opponents. Diplomatic options don't feel available to me this game. It doesn't seem like the major countries left feel the need to defend against each other. So even though there's only two people at war with me, they can send everything they have because they don't need a defensive reserve. Yugo's burning through their rent money trying to best me. Of course I still have to be on guard for attack from the other folks still on the sidelines as well. Doesn't feel like a friendly forum game anymore.
i keep a defensive army..... Dont worry i'll help you out
Don't worry about it Karl. I understand the plan. Have your buddies send suicide attacks then surrender their territory to you. I'm not going to waste much more of my time beating up on your henchmen. The outcome is not in doubt, it's four on one. You already told me you were going on leave and you've been saying Nova's the boss for some time now. Now you expect me to believe this is a genuine betrayal. Your manipulations are transparent and weak. Your ego needs this win a lot more than mine does.
grr... i .. want an interesting game.. not an easy win...
I am not even in TGS anymore.... ughh. I dont even talk about this game's strategy with anyone......
You guys are forgetting about the America's. Also, Karl's new quotes just kill me. ""I hate you whowh""

I would have given you a hell of a fight in a real game. Your thumb is on the scale. No coalitions, 3 day peace period, you guys all have right of way together. You can say it's legit, but I don't buy it. I'll let others form their own opinions.
I had this conversation with Yugo after I declared war.

Honestly I should have known better. I thought you guys wanted to have a fun game but really you're just showing off at my expense. I doubt anyone with any real game knowledge is impressed by this "victory". Guess I'll see you in AvA.
Look in the newspaper.
In the spirit of sportmanship and for those following along at home:
I'm pulling my forces back to England to await execution. The war is not over, I still have 100 units, though many are damaged at this point from days of constant warfare.. All my instincts are telling me to keep fighting, but I'm tired, I've been playing too much for too long and I'm getting bitter.
There were a number of good battles in the game, the level of competition was much higher than I'm used to. The war with Yugoslavia was going very well and in any normal game would have been enough to knock him out. I laid a very nice ambush on a twenty-six stack last night. He had three artillery in the stack and I repositioned my artillery about five minutes back to force him up and he ran into five level 3 AT. Now you might think, it's 5 on 26, they should get wrecked. Well you would be wrong. Due to stacking penalties and the overall weakness of his force in infantry damage he was only doing about 16 a round and taking 80 in light armor damage. Then my artillery kept lighting him up and I attacked with ten level 3 infantry to finish them off. I massacred a large number of armored cars and light armor with air power. The dude had a swarm.

The war with Ukraine was brief. His composition was much better suited to fighting my army and was very heavy on artillery. In addition, he had superior mobility. He brought a very strong stack to Breslau and we had a very interesting battle before he disengaged. If he had committed the battle would have been very bloody for both sides. In the end he gave better than he got in terms of casualties and units killed. His artillery tactics were spot on, so tip of the hat to Krasny. Felt about evenly matched in terms of skill, but I didn't have much time to observe his play.
