Going Big!
I opened this thread to find out some feedback on nations that players
have found themselves to big with, in other words, that they have expanded greatly here.
Sometimes a player may not intend to expand borders but it has been found that they are able to take advantage, or that a strange coalition has allowed for this, otherwise a coining effort.
I myself, would like to gain some insight on how players have made this possible, bearing in mind what I have just mentioned in this post... so lets hear it.... Going Big.
Nations I have achieved big time with include:
Syria - Hard to get, Naval strategy for an enemy can be weak. Watch out for Greece players
Tanganyika - Best for mid game (only my opinion)
Turkestan - Good to make it hard for Russian coalitions. Don't rule out a solo victory
NSW - Not many people choose to solo with this one, it is difficult but is an easy end game
Borneo - As above
British Columbia - Good early expansion. Be sure to get a Navy.
Bolivia - Underestimated and hard to get.
Volga Perm - Another great strategical choice, I recommend missiles and artillery for east, Tanks for the west.
Germany - Good early game, difficult to go big and win if Asia is big.
Britain - Best for going big anywhere, be sure to have troop transports upgraded and escorted.
Ma Clique - Expand everywhere.
North Argentina - A good nation to hold on to resources. Good for coalitions. Airforce essential
Upper Volta - Great to go Navy, hard to decide how much Navy.
Finland - Go East asap. Especially if Sweden are neutral.
South China - Good to go land, build artillery on coast. On Pacific rounds, make heaps of submarines.
Below is an early example of me going big with Tanganyika in late 2015.
I myself and another victim, was booted from this round for s using some hard words, I spent coin and so too, did the enemy players. This round was epic and much can be said about this if anyone wants to know.
The other pic is an image of Borneo going big. I won this round as solo victory.
