What are you building with goods?

Goods become a problem building recruiting stations to get mp up.

goods become cheaper on the stock markets later on, goods can be made by industry.

In general I dont have much problems, and still I use a good amount of infantry/militia, ordonance and air units, all requiring goods. Sure you are restricted, but I ensure to get the industries up to high level as spoon as possible before cranking out manpower and later on propaganda offices if I want to change capital location

I've never had problems with Goods, then again, my Tactic is Mass Navy and LT spam, which is very effective, the only thing i really need goods for are Arty, which is also part of my master strategy.

at my all games goods most expensive resource on market

Before people start responding with "Goods are cheap in my games!" be aware that different maps play very differently. A lot of posters assume everyone is playing their favorite map, and face the same market conditions.

On the standard 100 player world map, goods are typically expensive all the way into the end game.

Answers like "build more industry" are clearly not helpful. This is why I ask what Undaunted is building, that's so good intensive. It may be that he's building way too much infantry or artillery?

ฤฑf you go artillery - anti tank - anti air at the same time do you should add armored car near of them instead of infantry to save some goods and food ? comintern doctrine doesnt help about goods

I dont want to spam medium tanks I want defensive and offensive army together

and I didnt start to research planes I thought rockets and railroad gun can help If artillery have hard times

i really donโ€™t want to start this argument but Medium tanks are way better

You're right, Comintern encourages you to rely on AA+Arty instead of air force, because Arty is strong+cheap and Comintern fighters are weak. Axis, Allied and Pan Asian fighters reach higher levels more quickly, and they work better even at the same level. That's a recipe for losing air superiority, which means you have to build AA to protect your ground units. That means you have to maintain an even larger army than you would normally want to maintain.

I've found 4 solutions to this problem. Neither is perfect, but try them and decide for yourself.

1. Focus on upgrades, so you need fewer units overall. Use the upgrade/research race condition exploit to jump everything from 1 to 3, or 1 to 4.

2. Cruisers. Solid bombardment output, good mobility, replaces ground artillery units along the shore.

3. Militia. Solid stats at higher levels, low goods usage, stealth bonus can be deadly in some situations.

4. Rocket fighters. Skip the normal air tree entirely, and if you really need fighters to stop enemy bombers in the mid to late game, build rocket fighters. They do not suffer the same research penalty as normal Comintern fighters.

These strategies work for any doctrine, but #2 #3 #4 are especially useful when playing Comintern.

The prices are often determined by the way you play, you beat up the AI, everything will be expensive, this is not a "players only" stock market, if you are friendly/correct with AI, thus install embargo's and only after 24 hrs declare war, no surprise attacks, this will result in better prices I have understood. Also regular trading at the market is welcomed, with better prices

all players dont see same prices on market ?? ฤฑf you have %80 popularity will you see cheaper prices ??

I think this does not depend on the map, but on the players style. This is my personal experience (using aggressive or politically correct style), and also known from experienced players' tutorials. In the end if you are very big it will always be rather expensive

You may or may not. If you click on "All Offers" on the market any crossed out offers are ones from a player or AI that has embargo on or war with you.

It's some of both. Large maps require a ton of recruitment centers to keep manpower high while players can get away with fewer on small maps. Recruitment centers require goods, increasing demand for it.

I think option 1 (combined with 3 is working very well, comintern militia can be build at barracks level 1 easily, almost no penalty for time, and allow "cheapest" upgrade to elite peasants at day 12 already, they do well in mountains, forests and to lesser extent in hills and urban, a stack of 10 of these guys behind enemy lines is not fast, but very secretive and deadly if no scouts available, but with interceptors they can be easily revealed.

I like option 4 in extensive scenarios, good thinking ^^, less health and radius and unfortunately not cariable, but 7 more damage and much earlier available at lower costs.

How many solo games have you won with only Med Tank spam?

I've won every game I've spammed medium tanks, but it's only a sample size of like 3 haha. Probably 1 or 2 of them were solo.

I've also won every game I've spammed light tanks but that was back in the COW 1.0 days.

I've long been tempted to attempt a meme strat game to prove that really anything is viable, even if some units or strategies are better than others. Like soloing a 22 with only militia, railguns, and AA or something dumb like that.

Joint strategy, one spam's AA and the other spam's Tank Destroyers. 22 map.
