Helping new people

I’ve noticed that it seems many run into road blocks when joining the forum and end up giving up when they don’t get full access and such. I think if we tried helping them more we may be able to get more members and such. Therefore I recommend we post messages on their wall similar to this one from @Donk2.0:

Hello! Welcome to the forum! To be able to post freely, you need to have a few posts pre-approved by moderators. This is faster if you can get likes on those posts, which I can help provide once one of yours gets approved.

This can help explain their situation, welcome them in and give them something to do all at once. Perhaps linking the Open Bar Chatroom thread in order to give them a place to post and gain these likes would also be helpful.
