Hi I am new to the Game and my opponents has a massive army on just day 8. Is this even possible? It is like 20 plus tanks and 30 level 3 infantry and 21 bombers 7 intercepters and 2 battleships level 3 and 4 level three submarine

It is possible. And even if it is not, you can use gold or boosters to have extra units.

If the opponent expanded quickly, and lost zero units since the game started, then it's possible. The newspaper does not lie.

The willingness to spend Gold to win games is a built in feature of the COW Business Plan. We get this instead of advertising. Not sure which is more obnoxious.

That's suspicious, when anyone has 24% of total military power.

But if these are the numbers, you're playing a small map. There are few active players, almost all of them noobs. If there's one guy who knows the game well, he's going to dominate. Not because he's cheating but because everyone else is really, really bad.

Once the game gets a gold buying fanatic, you might as well quit and cut your losses, so as not to have your military record tarnished by unfair, unrealistic, cowardly players. I played a game once where Spain had full nuclear capability after 4 days of real time. Even my natural enemies quit along side of me it was so ridiculous to keep playing.
