Elite AI is more proactive at giving Right of Way in an attempt to make friends, in hopes that you will reciprocate.
I am not sure if Shared Map is expected, or if that is just a carryover from your country being AI early, and the relations didn't reset when you joined. Can you provide the game number please so I can look into it?
