Greetings everyone!
I hope you're all doing well. I have a question; how do you combine multiple units? For aircraft, I know to just land airplanes at one specific landing strip. However, for naval units, even if you place them in the same area, they won't combine. Same thing for land units. How do you combine units? I realize you can't combine a land unit with a naval, but if I wanted to combine a tank with a mechanized infantry unit, what do I press? Same thing with naval units; if I wanted to combine a submarine with a cruiser, how? Thanks in advance for taking the time to answer my newb question.

You should be able to combine units by putting them in the same place. Doing it one by one can be tricky since if they're a little bit off of each other, they wont combine. Try using the "add army" command to command multiple units at the same time, and then "move" to move them to the same spot.
Send all of them to the same place, like the center of the province bordering your enemy. As they arrive they join. When they all arrive you tell them to leave as a stack. That's how you win battles, you stack 5-10 units together and then you send them to attack. Never attack with single units
