How do you explain this

I have a group of 17 level 5 interceptors patrolling an area where enemy has one group of 9 interceptors, level 5 and second group of 5 bombers, level 5. Totally, 30 minutes, I lost 2 interceptors and made damage to enemy, both groups, ZERO!! :cursing:

Maximum efficiency of airplanes is generally 5 of a given type: interceptors, bombers

So you would have been better off with 2 groups of 5 interceptors and a group of 6 interceptors. Even splitting your interceptors into 2 groups would be a big improvement in damage dealt.

Next did your groups tick at 15 minutes? If your group ticked, both enemy groups would fire back with defensive stats.

Did the enemy groups tick at 15 minutes? If they did, your groups of interceptors would fire back. In this case, your one group.

Next your group of 17 interceptors will lose an interceptor for every 20 points of damage received. It is better to have a mixed stack including bombers. The damage is spread between both types and you don't lose planes as quickly.

Same with his group of 9 interceptors. His group of bombers would lose a tac bomber for every 25 points of damage.

Did you check the enemy health points before and after each round of combat? It is important to see how much damage is done. The damage will vary from round to round.

Sir, this state to art game design does not reflect the fact of war. A 17 group of interceptors never fail to 9 interceptor+5 bombers. This is a strategy game and should improve the calculation method.

"lose a tac bomber for every 25 points of damage? But lose an interceptor for every 20 points of damage received".

Any evidence about bomber is more durable than interceptor? Just compare the thickness of armor?

It is part of the intended design to limit the effectiveness of having large numbers of a single unit type in a stack. The game favors mixed stacks.

Creating death stacks has always been a bad idea, in favor of breaking them up into smaller stacks.

Free Time looks good on me

17 planes are death stack?

It seems he did not attacked with his stacks, only defending. Because if his 5 TB stack would make 1 single attack he would lose 1 TB each patrol tick.

Also this was a mutant swarming taktik.
