As Forum President, view this as a census among people on the forum.
How many of each nationality do we have here, I can remember @Komrade Khrushchev listing all the balkan people, and it dawned on me there are a lot of Brits as well.7
British People, I can think of right now:
- @Zaktty
probably many more.

After the second civil war! Revolt!
Yes I did read 'the source' and this is an example of his own humility, though he still maintains that he did have an indirect part in it. Then in the second part of this 'source' he goes on to say that he was actually the one who had conceived both the idea of an atomic bomb and inventd the technology. Both of these statements support my point. Your point however, that he did not even work on any major theories and did no work at all seems completely unsubstantuated if not even contradictory to your own statement. The first source said that "In 1938, three chemists working in a laboratory in Berlin made a discovery that would alter the course of history: they split the uranium atom. The energy released when this splitting, or fission, occurs is tremendous--enough to power a bomb. But before such a weapon could be built, numerous technical problems had to be overcome." Your own source seems to say that the first atom was first split in Germany with Einstein's help. I don't no if it could be more clear that Einstein invented most of the technolodgy for the bomb.Carking the 6th wrote:

Firstly that is bullshit and secondly Einstein was German anyway, and he gave a lot of his reasearch to the UK, who then gave it to the US to provide the resources. “Julius Robert Oppenheimer (Robert Oppenheimer) was born in New York Cityon April 22, 1904, to wealthy textile importer Julius Oppenheimer and his wife painter Ella Friedman Oppenheimer.“
Do not forget that practically all of the scientists and engineers, money/resources and locations used in the Manhattan project were from the United States. The experts, majority of the research, and bomb itself all was made in America. I love hating on the US as much as the next guy but this is just lying…
“He repeatedly reminded people, "I do not consider myself the father of the release of atomic energy. My part in it was quite indirect." Nevertheless, Einstein was frequently asked to explain his role—as he was when a Japanese magazine editor asked him, "Why did you cooperate in the production of atomic bombs, knowing full well their... destructive power?"
Einstein's answer was always that his only act had been to write to President Roosevelt suggesting that the United States research atomic weapons before the Germans harnessed this deadly technology. He came to regret taking even this step. In an interview with Newsweek magazine, he said that "had I known that the Germans would not succeed in developing an atomic bomb, I would have done nothing."”
He didn’t work on the bombs or any major theories, his work barely involved the nuke. The bombs real research, development, production was all done in and by the US. America invented the nuke, how is this even an argument? Are you gonna say Italy “discovered” the Americas as well even though it was done with Spanish ships and by Spain just because Columbus was Italian?
An these so called 'sources' both seem to be the American government which we all know is very untrustworthy.
Please provide an example of a government you do trust.

Ok, that’s actually a lie now dude, no part of that source says anything like that. It’s a well known fact that this is a myth. Einstein simply helped convince the US to start working on it, with US scientists doing all the work in the Manhattan project. He did not invent any technology used there. Furthermore, .gov is actually usually a very trustworthy source. These were not the only sources that state all of this, and usually the the government tells the truth about historical info like this (why the hell would they lie? Finally, for the Germans who split the atom, I build a laser pointer. Am I responsible for a space laser now?noblebright wrote:

Also can you specify which part you think is a lie, is not mentioned in the artical and is a myth. I made multiple statements and all of them to my knowledge seem to be correct.
